| CNBC’s “Top 100 Financial Advisory Firms” 2022 list |
Clifford Swan Investment Counselors was recognized by CNBC in their October 2022 FA 100 list. The list celebrates the top 100 financial advisory firms in the country that offer comprehensive planning and financial services. The methodology for the 2022 edition of CNBC’s annual FA 100 ranking of registered investment advisors was prepared in partnership with data provider AccuPoint Solutions. A variety of core data points from AccuPoint Solutions’ database of RIAs were analyzed, ranging from the firm’s compliance record and years in business to total accounts and assets under management. |

| Financial Advisor Magazine’s “Top RIA Firms” 2024 list |
In Financial Advisor magazine’s annual ranking of independent advisory firms, published in their July/August 2024 issue, Clifford Swan Investment Counselors ranked as the 22nd largest RIA in California. To be eligible for the ranking, firms must be registered investment advisors and provide financial planning and related services to individual clients. Some items on the questionnaire require data that is also included on the firm’s Form ADV that is filed with the SEC. Hybrid RIA firms, corporate RIA firms and investment advisor representatives (IARs) are not eligible for this survey. |

| Financial Planning’s “RIA Leaders” 2024 list |
Financial Planning magazine designated Clifford Swan Investment Counselors as an RIA Leader in their November 2024 ranking. Criteria for the 2024 RIA Leaders ranking of the 150 largest fee-only RIAs: (1) Firms must have zero registered representatives of a broker-dealer. (2) At least 50% of the firm’s clients must be individuals or high net worth individuals. (3) Firms must not list commissions as a compensation arrangement. (4) Firms must have more than zero financial planning clients. (5) Firm’s must not list commission-taking businesses in “other business activities.” (6) Firms cannot be affiliated under common ownership with commission-taking businesses. |
